THE NBI FOUNDATION
The NBI Foundation is a non-profit organisation primarily focused on using basketball as a tool to positively impact communities. We believe that sports teaches lifelong lessons and creates several opportunities for people who deserve equal opportunities for success.
Through the NBI foundation, we will build, support and empower local talent and communities. In the 12 months following each year’s tournament, we will undertake community support projects.
Details of our first project:
After the 2023 maiden invitational, we will construct or refurbish a basketball court of a basic school within a deprived rural community in Ghana. Our motive is to take the game where it isn’t and use basketball to increase school enrolments. Over the course of the years to follow, we intend to provide free basketball clinics for interested students and children within the community.
